General Kang and his gang have escaped from the prison the four mystics placed him in.  He now has in his possession the Dragon Stone; a powerful artifact that give its bearer super powers.  Once again, the fate of the world lies in the four young heroes: the Mystics.  Play as Shiga, Lani, Naja or Tai as you strive to conquer the armies of evil.

Each character has their own attributes and special abilities.  Each character follows his or her own path in conquering evil.  Thus, you get different levels depending on which character you select.

You play in environments in which you have one goal: DESTROY ALL EVIL!  That is basically it.  Your typical hack n’ slash game.  You are able to use combos to strategically kill off Kang’s approaching minions, such as spells, attacks, etc.  Also, you are not alone.  Allies are there to help you.  Though, they can leave at any time, so when they are surrounded, make sure to help them out.  Eventually after hacking off the heads of the bad guys, you’ll meet a boss.

Mystic Heroes is a fairly easy game with easy concepts to grasp.  Although, some tactics and strategies may be needed, you do not need to do some heavy intellectual thinking.

The graphics of Mystic Heroes are fairly decent.  The cutscenes are pretty good.  But while playing, there is a noticeable drop in frame rate.  Although this may be put in purposefully, it does get annoying.  And yes, this game has a decent camera!

There’s even voice-acting!  Really… annoying… voice-acting… The voices of the characters don’t seem to fit the character.  While you’re playing, you can here things like ‘Wow! You’re amazing!’, ‘We’re doing great!’, and ‘We did it!!!’ all of which are very annoying, and I already know that I am amazing. ;P

Mystic is a very simple and easy game, but not very challenging.  Not recommended for buying, but rather a rental.  It provides quite a bit of mindless fun, useful for wasting your less-than precious time.  A decent game.
