Halo – Review by Leo

Out of all the first-person action shooters out there, I’d say this is the best out of all of them. Some of my friends are addicted to it and they even go at it all night long until dawn! Very weird. I haven’t finished the game and I don’t think I ever will, but from my experience, this is an awsome game.

Fun Factor

There is no reason to dislike this game. I must say, this first-person shooter combines a crazy environment along with a half-life-like interface with cool weapons and a gripping storyline. People who have played this game, or moreover, people who are still playing this game know that it is addicting and fun.

Graphics
The graphics are just plain breathtaking. Each level is enormous and richly decorated even with the smallest details which you probably won’t even notice. The animations are nice…much nicer than any PC shooter has to offer. The scenery is rich and complex, filled with many strange and wondrous things.

Sound
The smooth ambient noises and music make this game a worthwhile experience. Although the Covenant sound like jawas on helium, every little detail, whether it is a distant bird singing in the midst, will add to the high voltage gameplay. The music rocks and so does the voices. The audio is just incredibly well-done.

Controls
The controls are not meant to be gripped tightly by mere beginners, such as me! =P Tt takes some time to get used to them and will take more time to react with them to meet the desired needs. Sometimes it is a bit confusing, especially when you aim; but afterall, this is just my own opinion. Still the controls prove slick and firm once you get the hang of it.

Overall Rating

5 stars cuz I like to be fair…=D
