Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 – Review by Leo

     All racing games need to be based on the speed, the need for speed, and controls, graphics, music, and of course, speed! This game has it all, the controls are awsome…and you can switch from the inner car view (I love it!) to third person. Racing is just one feature of this jam-packed game. It tests your dodging skills on the open road, avoiding police cars, traffic, and other kinds of wild goose chases. Some of the cars include the Lotus, McLaren, Ferrari, and many more!

     The A. I. drives amazingly fast and act very intelligently, cutting routes and taking hidden shortcuts, which all add up to the addiction and realism of the game. Sometimes though, the police don’t see you zoom by at 120 m/hr. Now that is an advantage, but it is also weird and improper. Oh well, nothing is perfect. 

Fun Factor –
     The twisted trails and many exciting features all add up to this addicting game. The fast action and the sounds of the police keep you fixed to the game for days and days. Many exquisite sport cars have just been mentioned and look better than ever! It deserves all the pride it pursuits.

Graphics –
     There are a couple of things I would like to point out. The scenery is amazing! It looks as if you were actually driving down the real place itself! For one thing, very few racing games actually imput this much explosive detail into the tracks and continuous ongoing traffic appeal realistically as well.

Sound –
     The ringing sirens of police cars, the hot burning of the wheels, and the background ambients such as tropical birds and waterfalls, this game has all the sound it needs to fill the ears of any driver.

Controls –
     All I can say is that the analog controls the cars on immediate command. They seldom slide off their routes, and if you are a beginner, the controls will coach you to nigh on perfection.

Overall Rating –

            4/5 stars due to a few minor glitches. =D
