Minority Report

Picture a future with no murders.  This movie based on the novel of the late Philip K. Dick is a stupendously awesome film.  Are there are exactly any words for it?  It is amazingly totally stunningly amazing!  Sue me if that last sentence didn’t make any sense.

Placed in a 2054 vision of Washington, D.C. they have set up a pre-cog system, which detects murders before they happen.  The Pre-cog police force has prevented murders for many years.  They do so by the three pre-cogs, which have nightmares of homicides before they happen.  Their visions appear on computer screens and alert the police.  John Anderton played by Tom Cruise is one of the officers who are on this force.  He is a drug addict and depressed over his missing son who disappeared 6 years ago.  But still a good man devoted to stopping the homicides.  All is normal until he is labeled as the next killer of a man he has never heard of.  Suddenly he is on the run, searching for answers and the adventure begins!

Minority Report is one of those movies, which keeps the audience interested from the beginning to end, and even days after they’ve seen it.  If you haven’t seen it, I’d advise you to take the fastest route to the theatre and purchase your ticket now.  Spielberg uses his magic we all know about and makes the movie go alive right in front of your eyes.  Using this smart story with awesome special effects and loads of eye candy.  With bits of everything in it, suspense, humor, action, and a great story line.  The futuristic setting is believable, but also a bit out there.  They use many sorts of high technology and the Lexus cars have a cool sleek shape.   This movie gives an exhilarating prospect to the future.  But picture yourself running from a crime you have not yet commit, scary huh?

I rate this movie 5/5 stars  cuz it seriously hard core rox for 2 hours or so..
